Integrated Marketing Campaign
Within the Integrated Marketing and Communications class, my group members and I developed a cohesive marketing plan for a local business; Rockingham Educational Foundation, Inc. We worked directly with the client to create a campaign theme, an overall goal, objectives, strategies, and tactics to enhance REFI's engagement and overall revenue.
At the end of the semester we presented our campaign to the client, giving us real-world experience that boosted our confidence in our marketing knowledge.
Business Plan Project
As a Junior, business majors at JMU take COB 300, which is an intensive schedule of finance, marketing, management, and operations. The rigorous schedule is topped off with a semester long group project to create an invention and develop an entire business plan.
Our group created Seal the Meal, a company who manufactures and sells vacuum sealers to grocery stores as well as technologically advanced vacuum seal bags with labels that became bumpy when the food has spoiled.
Social Media Marketing Plan
Throughout my Social Media Marketing Class, we have worked directly with a local wedding planner. To culminate the semester, each group created a social media marketing plan to present to the wedding planner three different campaigns that would run throughout 2025 to increase her following, engagement, and leads. We created 5 pieces of content per campaign as well as 10 pieces of evergreen content that the wedding planner could use right away on her social media platforms.
